Lost Creek

When I think of abstracted art, I think of freely conveying emotion and feeling onto canvas. This week presented a few personal challenges that made me want to be looser in painting style. In my mind, I thought back to childhood moments of inhibition and freedom, out of the small house with many people in it and to the outdoors. Where following a creek and it's colorful underworld could get you safely lost until we returned at dusk. I wanted to paint this creek but abstracted with enough movement and color that you could get lost in it too. Could you get lost in this creek?
